studios of the universe

one of the highlights of our trip to the U.S. was the universal studios, and for us it turned out to be a wholesome and enjoyable tour because of the friends who made it possible.

Re-connecting with the kids of my close friends Sharon and Johnny Postrero for a day out was just like a family reunion to me. the Postrero siblings - Tash, Reva and DJ teamed up to make this an exciting and memorable day for us.

Damon turned out to be the best tour mascot... never a dull moment and Kailee loved him very much.

where do we start... what's next? Tash just knew exactly where to go. without her we would be wasting a lot of time guessing which show or attraction to see in such a short time.

breakfast on the go just to save time. this couple were supposed to drive home to bakersfield the night before this tour, but because of some prolonged appointments with friends they had to stay put in L.A. and make do with the clothes that they didn't plan to wear at the universal studio tour. walmart came in handy for some soft sneakers.

it's not difficult to spot who's the most affected by the scary scene. the kid behind JP could have jumped of the car if only he wasn't restrained.

i asked Kailee if she really wanted to be a  minion as we were entering the studio for the minion show and she said with a scared look on her face - "NO!"

the transformers ride beats all the rides in the universal studios. if ellen g white were resurrected and made to see this show she might say "the kingdom has come!" LOL

another thrilling ride is the Jurassic park and we could see people were preparing to get wet. Kailee was so confident and sure of herself at the start.

the plunge at the last lap of the ride and our faces show the excitement and expectation. kailee is now covering her face while my efforts to hide behind the gopro cam proves to be futile.

and when the boat comes to a full stop you'll see Kailee crying, DJ drenched wet and Noah waving to Lolong Edgar who appeared from nowhere and took the photo.

 a good friend and brother... Edgar, showed up to accompany me on the mid-portion part of the tour. we had a good time chatting during the long queues to the shows.

 Potiphar's wife materialized on the set and i kept my distance determined not to fall victim to her seduction like Joseph 
almost did.

we met some friends (pepe and lotlot) who were also touring the studios with some friends and this only proved that even the universe is a small world.

 we didnt get to see all the attractions because it would take about 3 days to do the entire place. but our hearts were full and we treasured the bonding moments with friends. Tash/Tony, Reva and DJ/Damon - a million thanks for making our visit to america a memorable one.
