The hour of His Judgment

Does the thought of the earth’s final judgment bring fear to you? For the average SDA, it does. Why? Because no one in this church believes that they already have final salvation. They have been taught that since 1944 a judgment scene is taking place in heaven and this will continue until a time they call “the close of probation.”

This is what the SDA prophetess - Ellen G. White, saw in her vision:

Here are the elements of the SDA church's unique and unbiblical doctrine – “The Investigative Judgment.”

1. Time - 1844 up to the "close of probation"
2. Venue - a "sanctuary" in heaven.
3. Judge - God the Father.
4. Accused - all professed children of God from Adam to the present.
5. Accuser/prosecutor - Satan.
6. Intercessor/defense lawyer - Jesus.
7. Who is found sentenced to carry all the sin of God's people - Satan (scapegoat)

Bible facts about a judgment:
1. Time - When Jesus comes for the second time.
2. Venue - definitely not in a sanctuary in heaven. (Matthew 25)

3. Judge - not God the Father as EG White saw in her vision.

4. There is no biblical statement about an accuser or intercessor in this judgment.
5. God's children will not come under judgement contrary to the claims of the SDA prophetess. John 5:

6. Who is sentenced and made to serve the penalty for the sins of the world? Do the verses below allude to Satan as claimed by EG White?
Isaiah 53:

One noteworthy aspect of the SDA church's doctrine about the Investigative Judgment is the claim that Satan is presently in heaven, since 1844, participating in a judgment of sorts.

This doctrine makes the sacrifice at the cross needless and worthless... if only the SDA can realize this fact.

covenant confusion - conclusion

By re-writing and twisting the facts of God's covenants in the bible, Ellen G. White - SDA prophetess, unwittingly spawned confusion among her followers (the members of the SDA church). These are the results:

1. The SDAs believe that they are duty-bound by the Old Covenant and to prove that, they have taken on themselves the title "modern-day Israelites." Again they are without biblical support on this one.

2. They also proclaim that they are under the blood of Jesus - the New Covenant.

3. The bible is clear that you cannot be under two masters.

4. There is practically no point in  holding on to a covenant that was not made for you in the first place and that was rendered obsolete by the creation of another covenant.

5. It is actually useless to the point of damning, to hold on to a covenant that is not of faith, is a curse, is considered by Paul to be the ministry of death and the law of sin and death, when God has provided a new covenant of grace for everyone by the simple act of faith... if the SDA only knew.

here are some examples showing the differences between the two covenants:

covenant confusion - 3rd part

The new covenant facts:

1. foretold in the prophet Jeremiah's time (Jeremiah 31)

2. it is the Holy Spirit written on fleshy hearts, not the previous one that was engraved on tables of stone (2 Corinthians 3)

3. the new covenant is the blood of Jesus

4. it rendered the previous covenant "old" and thus the new covenant is now the present existing covenant between God and the believer.

covenant confusion - 2nd part

The Old Covenant is also known in the bible as:

1. The 10 commandments (Exodus 34)

2. The Law of Moses (Malachi 4)

3. Covenant made in Horeb (Deuteronomy 5)

4. Covenant made when God brought the Israelites out of Egypt (Jeremiah 31)

5. Covenant of the letter... that kills (2 Corinthians 3)

6. Ministry of death engraved in stone (2 Corinthians 3)

7. Law of sin and death (Romans 8)

8. Put to an end by Jesus (Romans 10)

9. Fulfilled by Jesus (Matthew 5)

10. A middle wall between the Jews and the Gentiles (Ephesians 2)

11. Handwriting of ordinances… against us (Colossians 2)

12. Works or works of the law (Galatians 2)

13. A schoolmaster (Galatians 3)

14. Not of faith (Galatians 3)

15. A curse (Galatians 3)

16. Bondwoman(Galatians 4)

17. Obsolete (Hebrews 8)

covenant confusion - 1st part

Ellen G. White - SDA prophetess and cahoots who started a movement in the 1800s, have practically re-written the facts of the covenants in the Bible.

here are some facts that they have twisted:
1. The Law = the 10 commandments existed since creation and will last forever. (they can't show a single Bible verse to this effect)
2. All humankind is bound by the 10 commandments. (again no Bible verse to show)
3. The 10 commandments will be the basis for judging the Christian. (still no biblical support)

The Bible has everything one has to know about this subject matter.

Fact #1 - the 10 commandments were actually a covenant that God made exclusively with the ancient Israelites at Mt. Sinai. (Exodus 34)

Fact #2 - this covenant was given 430 years after God made the covenant promise with Abraham. (Galatians 3)

Fact #3 - The people who lived before the Sinai event were not participants in this covenant. (Deuteronomy 5)

Fact #4 - non-Israelites (Gentiles) were not part of this covenant. (Ephesians 2)

Fact #5 - this covenant was rendered "obsolete by the establishment of a new covenant. (Hebrews 8)

Fact #6 - the Holy Spirit (New Covenant) replaced the "ministry of death engraved on stone" and is God's present law for the Christian. (2 Corinthians 3)

the FULL gospel vs the PERVERTED gospel

Anything authentic always has a fake or perverted counterpart. If there is a full and true gospel, there is also a fake and perverted gospel.

Each believer of the gospel is commissioned not only to preach it, but to defend it against imposters who peddle out a 99% or less gospel. It behooves each believer to be vigilant against fraud since it is heaven or hell that is at stake for the unsuspecting victim.

Why the gospel?

“By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.” 1 Corinthians 15:2

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.” Romans 1:16

What is the Full gospel?

“Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel …  For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…”

Simply put, the gospel is about the new covenant of the blood of Jesus. “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” Matthew 26:28.

What is the perverted gospel? It is anything that deviates from the good news about the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus for the salvation of mankind. It is anything that gives importance to what man can do to contribute to his salvation over what Jesus already did for man's salvation. It is anything that contradicts the new covenant truth. It is anything that is not about faith in the gospel.

Paul clearly says that the gospel is not about the old covenant law or obedience/observance to these laws. Anyone who incorporates the old covenant law into the new covenant of the blood of Jesus has perverted the gospel and will be cursed.
When was the Christian ever commanded to preach a gospel with the Sabbath as a key component? Where's the life, death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus in this billboard declaration?

"Why I go to church on Saturday"

I can go to church on Saturday or any other day for that matter. The issue here is not about "when" to go to church but - "why."

http://www.glowcentral.org/why-i-go-to-church-on-saturday-2/

By the heading alone, one can see that this is a personal opinion of an SDA writer. There is no such thing as a wrong opinion since it is just what the guy thinks, but what really shocks me is how the writer can twist the truth in the Bible to push the doctrines of his church. I'll point out his lies one by one.

LIE #1: "I go to church on Saturday because it is biblical..."

Biblical fact: The ancient Israelites, to whom this law/covenant were given where never commanded to attend church. This is what they were commanded to do on Saturdays:

"Bear in mind that the Lord has given you the Sabbath; that is why on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Everyone is to stay where they are on the seventh day; no one is to go out. So the people rested on the seventh day." Ex 16:29, 30.

LIE #2: "This day is called Sabbath and corresponds with Saturday. It was given to humankind at creation about 2,000 years before the Jewish people existed."

Biblical fact: The "Sabbath" law was only given at Mt. Sinai:

"Hear Israel the decrees and laws... It was NOT with our ancestors that the Lord made this covenant, but with us, with all of us who are alive here today... remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy..." Deut. 5:1-21

The Sabbath commandment was given 430 years after God made a covenant with Abraham:

"The law introduced 430 years later... it was added because of transgressions..." Galatians 3:17-19

LIE #3: "So why do most Christian churches worship on Sunday... tradition... the Bible never records God changing Sabbath from the seventh day to the first. This change came in long after the disciples died."

Biblical fact: The Sabbath was never changed from Saturday to Sunday. Up to this very day, since it was given at Mt. Sinai to the Israelites, it still is the seventh day Sabbath. One just has to go to Jerusalem to see this truth. All Jews down through the centuries have kept this day holy. Christians are gentiles and never in the Bible were the non-Israelites part of the Sinaitic covenant. The gentiles were never commanded to keep a specific day holy.

"One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord." Romans 14:5

LIE #4: "Reason two - love"

Biblical fact: The Jews were not required to obey the Sabbath law out of love to Jehovah. They were conditioned to rest on the Sabbath out of fear.

"and while the children of Israel were in the wilderness they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day... The Lord said unto Moses, the man shall be surely put to death... and all the congregation brought him without the camp and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the Lord commanded Moses." Numbers 15:32-36

LIE #5 (The biggest and most damnable lie): "The Sabbath is a special sign of this salvation."

The author is actually saying that observance of the Sabbath and salvation are inseparable and that without the sabbath there is no salvation. This is the highest form of blasphemy against the blood Jesus.

Biblical fact:

"I do not set aside the the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!" Galatians 2:21

"You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace." Galatians 5:4

"know that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified." Galatians 2:16

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is  not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8, 9

Noah's eye goes under the knife

Old McNoah never dreamed that after the flood, time would come when he would have to lay on an operating table with a doctor cutting up his eye… not even in his wildest dreams. Here’s the timeline to his excruciating ordeal.
12:20 pm
Noah checks into the Ophthalmology Center of Yanhee International Hospital for surgery. His blood pressure is taken = 130/71. “Hmmm still good” – he silently muses. The nurse takes him into a room where his face is washed and dried and then he is made to wait until the OR guys call to say that he could be brought down. Just before going down his BP is taken = 142/76. “Aha, is this the effect of the adrenaline?”
12:45 pm
One floor down by elevator and he is led through some corridor before entering the OR ante-room. He is given a hospital gown and told to strip to his bare skin – including his comfy underwear – now he really feels uncomfortable. (“For just an eye surgery why do I have to shed my brief?”). A lady helps him onto a stretcher and he has to wait until the OR guys inside come out to get him.
01:10 pm
2 ladies come out of the OR and one asks, “you want peepee?” Noah nods the affirmative and he is helped off the stretcher with the gown slightly parting and exposing his shrunken balls. (the ladies’ reactions cannot be seen with their masks on). Noah is back on the stretcher and wheeled into the massive OR complex that sees about an average of 20 surgeries on a daily basis.
01:20 pm
Noah is heaved on to the operating table. Above him looms a ceiling-mounted operating microscope. He notes that there are 4 persons in the room. One attaches a cuff on his arm and a pincher on a finger and a beeping monitor comes to life blatantly screaming out his heart rate, which is getting faster by the minute. BP = 155/80. Not even a double dose of Amlodipine can stop its rise.
XX:XX pm
With his whole being shrouded in sterile surgical drapes and the only exposed part is the right eye, there is virtually no way Noah could tell what time the surgery started. A few drops of anesthetic floods his eye then an eyelid retractor is plowed into place. “This is it” Noah mutters under his breath - the monitor now beeping a little more faster.

The scene through Noah’s eye is like a victim kept inside a dark barrel with the round opening being the only light. Through this opening come several sharp objects – very pointed surgical scissors, hemostats, cautery tips, a hose nozzle that intermittently gushes with sterile saline solution, a needle with suture material and another pair of scissors that snips off the thread. Amazingly, Noah has 20-20 vision throughout the surgery when in real life he is presbyopic.

There are also some commands that Noah has to follow: look up, look down, to the right… the left, and all this keeps Noah on his toes while he notes that the muscles at the back of his neck, spine, butt and lower limbs are constantly contracted in anticipation for the pain, which miraculously was never felt throughout the surgery. Hallelujah!! He never felt a single twinge of pain – he SAW it. OMG! He was seeing pain – not feeling it, which is worse, because no amount of analgesic can quell it.
01:15pm
The drapes are lifted, Noah heaves a sigh of relief, he goes back on the stretcher, wheeled out and changes back to his comfy clothes. He is free at last – with a tight bandage over the eye.

What are the chances that Noah will get back the Pterygium that was the cause of all the trouble? Maybe in 20 years, that is if Noah doesn't shield his eyes from the elements that predispose to its growth. Noah does some math and smiles when he realizes that before this time comes he may be in Paradise already. Reunited with all the animals in the ark.
