"kung hei fat choi!"

Today is the official Chinese new year and the first day of the year of the ox. "Kung hei fat choi" to everyone.. meaning "I wish you luck and prosperity." I am a Taurus, which means this year is mine, and no doubt it is.

The pictures in this album were taken in Siam Paragon where we witnessed a presentation of the dancing dragons and got to see the Princess and her son.

@18 months and this little angel was touring Pattaya on New Year. Her presence in the family made the start of the year more endearing. This album features her own terms of enjoyment and will save for posterity this chapter in her life.

Thank God for this [heavy] bundle of joy.

Pattaya

A sea coast city 130 kilometers and a smooth 2-hour, 113 Baht/person ride from Bangkok. The air is clean and the breeze is cool and unceasing... a far cry from the smoke-choked City of Angels.

It was 8 o'clock on December 31 when we boarded the bus at Morchit station for Pattaya. This was our first trip except for Jaypea who went there 2 years ago. In our minds were visions of frolicking in the beach, feasting on sea food, watching the "Pattaya 2009 Countdown" and the fireworks... and of course the bonding...and we intended to stay for 2 days. We had already booked our hotel and New Year's Eve dinner 3 months ago just to make sure that we wont get locked out of a blast of a New Year's celebration.

This album will show pictures of Pattaya while another album will depict the fun that we will always remember. We give God all the glory and praise!

New Year '09 - The Fun

One of the highlights of our trip to Pattaya was the beach with the sea water in your eyes, nose, mouth... sand in your hair and every imaginable orifice... the seafood... and the rides... hahahaha... what a great time we had!! God is good!
